"We at CNA decided to fit our new Cyclone® 18/9 with a long beam transport line to irradiate our physics experimental setup with a goof quality beam.
The beam line was configured by CNA and IBA experts as a natural extension of one of the cyclotron beam ports, while keeping available the other seven beam ports for PET radionuclides production. The experimental projects currently under development include ion implantation, radiation effects on semiconductors, and high energy PIXE".
